The Dimension SST 3D printer can rapidly build your 3D designs in ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). This tough and functional material can be finished to a very high standard and will accept spray paint enabling a professional look and feel to prototypes. The printer extrudes a fine filament of molten ABS plastic and builds up the model in layers. When the build is complete the finished model is ready for use.

Materials that can be used on the laser cutter include balsa wood, plastic and thin veneer laminates.
The DSP vaporized colours permeate the surface of the material e.g. "paper", "fabric", etc. The print head heats up as it passes over the film, causing the dyes to vaporize and permeate the glossy surface of the paper or other materials before they return to solid form.
